⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wake & Bake is an absolute gem! The brownie was AMAZING—rich, fudgy, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The chocolate chip cookie was just as incredible: perfectly soft, packed with chocolate, and seriously addictive. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. Special shout-out to Big J, who is hands down one of the kindest and most genuine people you’ll ever meet. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and brought such positive energy to the shop. If you’re looking for great coffee, incredible baked goods, and outstanding customer service, Wake & Bake is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The baristas were great as well. I had a wake and bacon sandwich, which was clearly made fresh. The egg yolk was even a bit runny, which I love, and the bacon was thick and extremely flavorful. The pumpkin cream cheese muffin was delicious, even the next day. I also had their seasonal s’mores latte which was fun with ghosts on the cup and delicious! They also recycled an oat milk container into a drink carrier. I will definitely be back!

During April 3rd in the Burg, a monthly event that encourages discovering and supporting downtown Harrisburg businesses, I discovered Wake and Bake Cafe. The timing to attend the 3rd in the Burg after 5:00 pm was perfect because Street parking is free. I met the owner, Elle, and her delightful little daughter at their homey yet charming cafe, which serves breakfast (Wake) and delectable sweet treats (Bake). I ordered a Vanilla Matcha with oat milk with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. My Matcha is one of the best I’ve tasted in the Harrisburg area. I love discovering and supporting small businesses like Wake & Bake. I’ll be back to try breakfast and a Mango Matcha.

Was looking for a good place to get Matcha as I’m new to the area and I’m very particular. Thank you for now being my go to Macha place 😍 The brownie and muffin were amazing as well! Really wanted to try the banana pudding, but they were all sold out so I guess I have to come back. The young man with the glasses that works at the front desk was very kind and easy to talk with.

Am spending the weekend out here in Harrisburg and was looking for a legit spot for breakfast. I saw this was close to the Hilton Hotel and had to give it a shot, this place does not disappoint. The service is top notch! The food is delicious along with their coffee. Its a welcoming place with beautiful art and awesome records lining the walls. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area.

A very cute, cozy cafe with a nice seating area and very kind, welcoming staff!! Everyone was polite and warm, and our food/drink came out very quickly. (It wasn't overwhelmingly busy when we got there so that definitely contributed but regardless, they very clearly care about catering to their patrons and being timely with their work!) The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were too, next time I'm in town I will for sure be stopping by!!

Charming place right across from the Capitol Building. I walk by the adjacent Pine St all the time but never noticed this little gem. They should really put up a real signage beyond just glass decals! We had Macha Latte bottomed with Strawberry Jam, Rolled Cake with Ube Filling, and Brûléed Cheesecake -- all were rather exotic; we were surprised to find them here. Now there was only one staff behind the counter who took order, handcraft drinks, and torched the cheesecake. So it did take quite a long time to get our orders. So if possible, order ahead or prepared to stick around for a while. Many colorful and interesting artworks on the walls. Plenty of metered street parking.

I recently stopped by Wake & Bake Cafe and had such a good experience. I ordered the cinnamon spiced latte and a chocolate chip cookie, and both were done really well. The latte had the perfect balance—just the right amount of cinnamon, enough sweetness without being overpowering, and the foam on top was especially smooth and well-crafted. You can tell care went into it. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and warm, especially in the center, with that slight saltiness that really brings out the flavor. It’s one of those simple items that’s easy to overlook, but this one stood out. The atmosphere is a big part of what makes this place memorable. It has a creative, artsy feel with subtle 90s nostalgia—things like vintage cameras and decor that give it personality without feeling overdone. One thing I appreciated right away was the bathroom location—it’s right at the front when you walk in, which is super convenient. Location-wise, it’s right across from the State Capitol, making it easy to find. There’s street parking, but it was still convenient and didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, it’s a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for a cozy place with strong drinks, good treats, and a unique vibe.

Hard to choose a drink cause they all looked so good but will be happy to come back and try more! My hubs had the Sweet cream latte and every time he drank he said "damn thats good!" I had the banana pudding latte soooo yummyyyy. We also enjoyed a blueberry muffin which tasted deliciously homemade. What a chill vibe on a Sunday morning. Definitely coming back to try more.
